There is a benefit for exchanging links with other reputable web sites.
Search engines use 'link popularity' as part of their criteria for
ranking web sites. Other web sites that link to your web site are 'Inbound links'
and count in your web site's 'Page Rank" (PR). The higher 'PR' gives your web site
an advantage over other sites.
To make this work effectively for both parties, there should be a link somewhere
on your main web site page that directly links to your partner links. This page
is therefore only one level deep and should allow the search engines to find your
partner links. It also is only fair since you desire that your partners list your
link no more than one level deep off their main web page. We do not charge for this
and do not exchange with any web site that we know does. Exchanges should be free.
Most exchanges are simple text exchange links. Some link exchange partners will offer
graphic link exchanges. We here at CynthiaShapiro.com have the following
view point. Since we are only exchanging with quality companies we believe in,
and products and services that we feel will benefit others, we are offer the following
exchanges.
We will match a link exchange based upon one of the below listed options.
Text, small graphic, medium graphic, or large graphic link exchange. We believe that
other people do want exposure to what we are offering, and will benefit from the

no more than one level deep on your web site.
(ie: http://www.yourdomain.com/yourlinkspagehere.html).

is anything that would work well as an exchange

Gather the needed HTML information for your chosen link below and include
it in your web site links page.

If you desire to exchange a graphic link, please ensure that
the graphic is in a subdirectory on your website where it can
be downloaded. (If you desire us to host the image). Otherwise,
you will need to include the absolute path inside the anchor tag
that you send us. (If you desire to host the image yourself).

(Ensure your email is a valid email address where we can contact you
should there be any issues).

without the quotes.
